Your unused Venice credit, sold to AntSeed buyers.
Each DIEM gives you $1 of Venice API credit a day, and unused credit doesn't roll over. Add a dedicated Venice API key and part of our buyers' requests runs on it. 85 % of what settles, after AntSeed's protocol fee, is attributed to you; 15 % funds the project.
About two minutes to set up · a pause takes effect within seconds
Until launch your share is recorded in VVV and the VVV stays in the project wallet. Nothing can be claimed yet. From launch it is paid as SEED, at the price of the day.
How it works
Three steps. The key stays yours.
You sign in with a wallet, add one key made for this, and watch it sell. Nothing moves out of your Venice account except the credit buyers actually use.
- Sign in with your wallet
Sign-In with Ethereum: a signature, no transaction, no gas. A plain wallet (EOA); no email, no password. Your wallet has to be on the beta list.
- Add a dedicated Venice key
Make a new key on Venice just for this, cap it there if you like, paste it once. We store it encrypted and only ever show its last four characters. By default it sells from DIEM only.
- Watch it sell
Part of our buyers' requests runs on your key. Your dashboard shows what it sold and what settled on-chain, day by day. Pause it any time; a pause takes effect within seconds.
Participants are buyers too: the same wallet can use the models from Use.
Idle credit
Your DIEM refills every day. What you don't use is gone.
Each DIEM gives you $1 of Venice API credit a day, and unused credit doesn't roll over. Move the sliders to see how much of yours expires, and how that compares with what buyers actually ask for.
How much credit sits idle?
move the sliders · EXAMPLEDemand is the limit. In the last 30 days buyers bought an average of $43.98 a day from us, shared by every key. Your idle credit only sells when there are buyers for it.
What your key actually sells shows up in your dashboard: sold, settled and attributed, day by day.
Who does what
We run the seller. You hold the key.
The split of work is as plain as the split of money. We never see your Venice password, and the key you add is one you made for this.
Who does what
We
- Route part of our buyers' requests to your key.
- Meter every request: one line with id, model, token counts, latency, cost. No prompt or answer text.
- Settle on Base through AntSeed's payment channels.
- Sweep settled USDC into VVV once it passes $30.
- Close the ledger once a day, in your proportion.
You
- Hold the key: it stays in your Venice account; we hold an encrypted copy that only serves requests.
- Decide when it's on: pause, resume or revoke from your dashboard, any time.
- Set the ceiling: cap the key's spend on Venice's side.
Your key
- Dedicated. Not the key you use yourself: make one on Venice just for this.
- Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Only its last four characters are ever shown, like …k7Q2 EXAMPLE.
- Capped where you want. Venice lets you set a spend limit per key; set one there and it holds no matter what we do.
- Pause, resume, revoke. A pause takes effect within seconds. Revoking it on Venice's side works too.
Sell from · per key
By default a key sells only from its daily DIEM credit; a USD balance on the same key is left alone. You can switch a key to sell from both. Small print: your USD only sells after all the DIEM on the network is used, and never below 94 % of Venice's list price.

Questions
Short answers.
Which credit sells first?
All the DIEM on the network sells before any USD is touched. Among the keys that still have DIEM, the participant who has sold the least today goes first, ours included.
When the whole network runs out of DIEM for the day, the service keeps running from USD as a last resort. A participant's USD is only used if they switched on "DIEM and USD", and never below their minimum price: 94 % of Venice's list price unless agreed otherwise. When the DIEM comes back with the daily reset, so does the normal price.
Can I sell my USD balance?
Only if you switch it on, per key: Sell from · DIEM and USD balance in your dashboard.
Your USD only sells after all the DIEM on the network is used, and never below 94 % of Venice's list price.
Who gets a request?
The eligible key whose owner has sold the least so far today. Several keys from the same person don't get extra priority. A key that is paused or has no credit left for the day is skipped until it can serve again.
Can it drain my account?
The key is dedicated and, by default, sells only from its daily DIEM credit. Venice lets you cap a key's spend on its side; set that cap and it holds no matter what we do. From your dashboard a pause takes effect within seconds, and you can revoke the key any time, on our side or on Venice's.
Only buyers' requests use your credit.
What if nobody buys?
Then nothing sells and nothing is attributed. Your DIEM refills the next day as it always does. There is no minimum and no penalty. Demand is finite and shared by every key; the chart on the Use page shows it day by day, quiet days included.
Why 15 %?
It pays for running the project. The split is published so you can check it against your own numbers; it is the same for every participant.
What is SEED?
The project's token. From launch, your share is paid as SEED, at the price of the day; everything about it is published that day. Until then your share is recorded in VVV and nothing can be claimed. There is no launch date yet.
How is this different from staking DIEM on AntSeed?
AntSeed's DIEM programme asks you to move your DIEM tokens into a staking contract. Here your DIEM stays in your own wallet: you add an API key's daily credit, and you can pause or revoke the key at any time.
