Quick start
The AntSeed CLI runs a local OpenAI-compatible proxy on your machine. Anything that speaks the OpenAI API — SDKs, agents, editors — works unchanged; you only change the base URL.
Needs Node.js 20 or newer. The deposit command prints a USDC address on Base — incoming funds are credited to your buyer automatically, no gas needed.

Pinning our peer sends every request to us; drop the flag and the network's router picks sellers for you.
Payments
AntSeed pays sellers through payment channels on Base. Nothing goes on-chain per request, and nobody holds your money for you.

You send USDC on Base to the AntSeed deposits contract from your own wallet. Your proxy opens a payment channel with us out of that balance. The funds sit in the contract, not with us.

Every request is metered in tokens and priced in micro-USDC. Your proxy signs a running total for what it has consumed; we sign a usage receipt for every request. Both sides keep the signed record.

On close, the contract pays us at most the total your proxy signed and the rest
returns to you. If we go silent, you close the channel yourself with
antseed buyer channels.
Privacy
We read the seller software we run before writing this section. Here is what a served request leaves behind on our side.

Request and response bodies stream through our node to the upstream model and back. They are not written to our logs or our database.
In transit, your proxy reaches our node over a WebRTC data channel (DTLS-encrypted); our node reaches the upstream over HTTPS. Upstream compute is Venice.ai, whose stated policy is not to store prompts.
The one exception, so you know it exists: if the upstream returns a truncated stream under 300 bytes — an error, in practice — the seller software writes that short response to its error log for diagnosis.
Trust
Every claim on this page is checkable by any AntSeed client — ownership proofs are published where only we could put them.
